2018世界盃賽事將進入尾聲，2019-20的夏季轉會窗高峰期也徐徐展開。根據FIFA官網的顯示，夏季轉會窗的球員轉會期是由2018-06-09至2018-08-31期間進行。當然，絕大部份球員的合約都是定在每年的06-30結束，但球員自身是准予於合約完結前半年開始洽談自身的未來球會方。就如利物浦官方宣佈剛免費放走了兩名一隊成員Can和Flanagan，以及一些自身的青年軍。
而於當地稍後時間07-01，利物浦的新球季亦即將展開。一班青年軍及沒有參與世界杯賽事的球員將陸續抵達大本營Melwood訓練場，開始備戰2019-20的熱身賽，以表現為自己在隊伍裡面爭取位置，免被賣出和外借。官方公佈球員名單有Camacho，Chirivella，Clyne，Fabinho，Gomez，Grabara，Ings，Jones，Karius，Keita，Kelleher，Kent，Klavan，Lallana，Markovic，Milner，Moreno，Ojo，Origi，Phillips，Robertson，Solanke，Sturridge，Ward，Wilson，以及Woodburn。
